What is Kikurage?
Kikurage, also known as wood ear mushroom, is a type of edible fungus that naturally grows on trees. It has a crunchy, jelly-like texture and is commonly used in Asian cuisine for its unique mouthfeel and nutritional benefits.
The mushrooms we’ll harvest are organically cultivated right here in Okinawa. Most children find them fun to pick—and surprisingly tasty when cooked!
